HIGHLIGHTS OF WORK EXPERIENCE

Until 1979

• Handling of numerous court cases during the law apprenticeship period
• Participation in preparatory works of four development plans (Iran's 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Plans)
• Responsible for preparation and submission of the 6th Development Plan of Iran (final draft was ready while leaving the Government)
• Responsible for the preparation and submission of 9 national budgets, all of them carried out successfully
• Creation of the Central Budget Bureau for National Budgeting of Iran
• Complete restructuring of budgetary system of the government and public corporations, based on modern concepts of government budgeting
• Creation of the Ministry of Agricultural Products and Consumer Goods, and its affiliated product and marketing agencies
• Initiator of the Annual National Labour Conferences for promotion of tripartite talks and negotiations between social partners: employers, workers and government

• Initiator and author of a number of legislation on labor relations, social welfare and social security, including: "Agricultural Labour Act", "Industrial Training Act and Organization", "Rehabilitation Act and Organization", "Labour and Social Security Education Programs and Institute", passing of the legislation and imlemetation of " Social Security for White Collar Workers", etc.

• Presiding over the international juries of the Tehran International Film Festival, on six occasions between 1972 and 1977

• Commissioned on behalf of the Iranian Government for settlement of a number of major contracts, labor disputes and other cases of judicial character, between 1962 and 1977

Since 1979

• Assisting the Government of Upper Volta (Burkina Fasso) in their efforts to obtain foreign financing for their development projects from 1981 to 1982

• Collaboration, as a consultant, with a number of Austrian, Canadian, French and Swiss consulting and industrial groups and companies in the fields of loan syndication, capital mobilization, various types of project financing and utilization of development loans, (1979-1998)

• Collaboration and partnership in ENERGIUM SARL, a Luxembourg-chartered consulting group active in the field of energy, petrochemicals and industry, from 1983 until 1986

• Consultancy mission for UNDP/DTCD in Senegal – Project SEN/85/003- Public Spending and Contracts, 1985

• Independent international consultancy with XERXES Consultants, since 1986-1999

• Member of the Board of Directors of a number of financial funds, (CSAM) an affiliate of Charles Street Capital Ltd., London.
